Your holiday in the Polish mountains

Poland has 21 mountains over 2,000 meters high, all located in the Tatra Mountains. The Tatra Mountains, comprising the High and Western Tatras within Poland , represent the highest mountain range in Poland and the entire Carpathian Mountains. The second highest mountain range in Poland is the Beskids. These are followed by the Giant Mountains (Karkonosze ), whose highest peak, Śnieżka (Schneekoppe), at 1,602 meters, is the Sudetes. Among the most beautiful mountains in Poland are the Forest Carpathians in the far southeast of the country. Also popular with tourists are the Low Beskids, the Gorce Mountains, and the Pieniny Mountains, each protected by a national park. Not far from Germany are many well-known spa and resort towns such as Bad Flinsberg (Swieradow Zdroj), Bad Warmbrunn (Cieplice Slaskie Zdroj), Schreiberhau (Szklarska Poreba), Krummhübel (Karpacz), Bad Reinerz (Duszniki Zdroj), Bad Altheide (Polanica Zdroj), Bad Schwarzbach (Czerniawa Zdroj) and the romantic Zakopane.
